Ponytail hat 2
Originally uploaded by Tavie
This weekend I knitted a ponytail hat - that's a winter cap that buttons around my ponytail in the back, since I wear one almost every day and they make it very difficult to wear a normal cap.

You can't really tell in the photo, but the hat's actually a deep, dark indigo-navy shade of the butteriest baby alpaca ever. I am thoroughly obsessed with baby alpaca.

Speaking of baby animals, I came home this evening to find that Cheryl had adopted two baby tuxedo kittens named Choo-choo and Mitt-mitt. Choo-choo is a girl and Mitt-mitt is a boy.

I died right dead, they're so cute.
