The first thing I said this morning was, "It's motherfucking snowing out". Because I am a pleasant person. I really like the snow but not the cold. If it could snow and be warm at the same time, that would be nice. I write like a fourth grader: complete, factual sentences. I wish I could hear that Stephin Merritt-as-sung-by-Kiki ode to NYC in the winter again ("Have You Seen it in the Snow?") because it's such a pretty song, and have you seen it in the snow? It's lovely.

I miss my baby and there's a big hole but I'm trying not to think about it.

Tomorrow is Aimee at the Beacon, which will be great as the gal puts on a wonderful show even if she is a nerd who likes Buffy. I like nerds. I think perhaps her nerdliness is my favourite thing about her.

I'm wearing long undywear and a sweater and fleece-lined boots today and it's still cold in here.
