I finished painting the vines on the walls of Gina's bathroom. They look pretty good.

On a sad note, I had to retire my beaded ring the other day. I put it in my wallet. I'd been wearing it constantly since I bought it in San Antonio on a cross-country train trip with my family and three of my best friends when I was 15. That's eight years of wearing that ring, never taking it off. I started wearing it while I was still in high school, before I'd met many of the important people in my life. I know it's just a stupid ring, but I was very attached to it. It'd been coming apart for a few weeks and I'd been stubbornly stitching it together with a needle and thread, but the old thing finally had to come off.

Just another thing to lose this summer. Another notch on that damn Latrine Wall.

This has got to stop, already.
