I know that this is not realy directed at me, but I am still sorry to read that you feel that way. I see blogs as a great thing. I love the way a lot of my friends write and I view their blog's as essays that I can not wait to read. I also see it as a way of staying close to people I never get to see. I may be reading something that lots of people have access to, but it is made more special because I know that person (well, usually!).
I write in my blog as the spirit moves me and I also ignore my blog as the spirit doesn't move me. It is nothing that I would email to anyone. It's just random stuff in my head. If someone emails me about stuff I've written, I talk it out, otherwise I don't think that much about it. Sometimes I email people I'm close to because of the stuff they wrote, because it makes me curious, but I don't resent the fact that they only wrote it in their blog. I'm happy I have the chance to see it.
I think the blog culture is fun and I will miss yours.
