Tavie, Erin, Dave and I saw Patton tonight....He was fantastic! I love him even more now. Brian Posehn was very funny too. Patton was so obviously stoned and yet he was so quick and so damn funny....I wish Linn had been there.
The thing is...I wanted Linn to be here during Fleet Week so she could enjoy sailor watching with me. Well, it's Fleet Week! The sailors were everywhere! I love it...I think it has to do with my whole Gene Kelly fasination. Anyway, there Tavie and I were, watching sailors as we sat in a crappy Tex-Mex (right next to the window) anticipating a night of Patton love. I wanted Linn to be there so much. Damn it....I miss her too much, she should have been there.
At Caroline's, we met Erin and her boyfriend Dave (who is really a great guy) and we went to our seats that were close to the front. Excellant view. I hope my pictures turn out. Like I said Brian put on a good show and Patton....well, what can I say, the Goblin Man was on fire tonight. He started talking about how he loves big Nordic women and Tavie and I actually screamed....SCREAMED! We were so embarrassed, but of course we were thinking of our big headed Swede...They are meant for each other!
When the show was over, I went up to him and told him all about my Swedish friend, who was so upset that she was missing this show, and how much she loves him. He was so sweet about it. He said,"Really?" all suprised. I just kept right on gushing (I'm such an idiot!) How we had seen him in White Trash and at Aimee and Michael's shows....he was all smiley and cuddly (we were posing for a picture and my camera wouldn't go so I got to cuddle Patton!) I mean really! Just pass me a sparkler so I can dance like a special ed student for him...
