I am posting a draft of the letter I am going to be sending the Bravo network and the producers of 'Shear Genius' and the pilot show 'Tabatha's Salon Takeover'. I feel it is important that they know what kind of person they are dealing with.

A few nights ago, I was watching TV when I came across a show I'd never seen before called "Shear Genius" on Bravo. I was shocked when I recognized one of the contestants, Tabatha Coffey, as someone I had been good friends with in the early '90s. I was even more shocked to find that she had been one of the more popular contestants and that Bravo had developed a pilot for her called "Tabatha's Salon Takeover."
I find this incredibly ironic given the fact that Ms. Coffey along with her mother, Norma, had "taken over" my identity in 1992 when I moved to London for a few months with the family I was working for. The two of them stole my personal information and opened up several credit cards in my name.
Norma Coffey and I met in 1990 and became good friends when we were both living as nannies in Ridgewood, NJ. When Tabatha moved to the U.S. we also became fast friends. In fact, we used to do nearly everything together; I held her hand when she got her nose-ring and she would often use me as her hair model when she taught styling classes at her salon. The whole time we were out dancing or taking the kids to the park, Tabatha and Norma were actually going through my personal belongings, stealing all of my information in order to wrack up nearly $11,000 in debt.
We fell out of touch after a few years, until 1994, when I received a call from American Express attempting to collect for cards that I had never authorized. I had to go through a lot of trouble to get my name cleared; I filed a police report against Norma Coffey, which I still have copies of, but the police told me, basically, that this "happens a lot" and that there was really "nothing I could do." So they got away with it. Norma even admitted committing the fraud to Kevin Block of one of the credit agencies that came after me, ACB Business Solutions. I have no idea if she ever made any arrangements to pay them back or not. It took along time to clear up the mess and I had to fill out 5 signed affidavits for each card.
I can't be the only person that they did this to. Her mother was obviously the leader, but, Tabatha was in on it; indeed, she held some of the cards in her name or her alias, "Tabatha Coomey"

I have got something to say...oh yes indeed I do...I just need Tavie and Steph M to help me say it just right....let's just say if you and your mom go around using other people's credit to open up cards and then years later you end up on a reality TV show you might expect that part of your past to rise up and bite you on your bleached beyond white headed ass...oh yes

Friday night...Tavie and I are riding the light rail back to the Hob...the train is sitting at a station...Tavie and I are chatting away...I finally start getting pissy because we are not moving...what is the deal??? "Where are we?" Tavie asks. "Hoboken!" says I, after looking out the window and seeing the Hoboken station...yeah...we were at our home station...just sitting there....we are embarrassed

Tuesday night...Tavie and I are out on the terrace feeding the plants...we are both in our pj's...I turn to go inside...the door is locked...yeah...we are locked out of the house on the 2nd story of our apartment... thankfully we have made friends with the family across the way...I even walk their dog...they have the key to our place...I see their terrace door is open...I yell for them and thankfully Adam is there...he frees us...we are embarrassed...

in between those days we did something else just as stupid...we have forgotten what it was..but it was also a doosey and we were embarrassed...yeah
